Default How is Tanzania these days?

My name is Rajni Moses and I was born and raised in Moshi, Tanzania. I have been in States for 22 years and since than have not returned back home. My family lives in Moshi, Tulsi Vadher & Family.

Since I have not been there I would like to know how it has changed?
Yes, what is a good place to eat?
What is the value of Shillings?
How is the economy?

Wow, if someone can respond and start the conversation it would be great. My family always says everything is okay.

Default Re: Hello

Hi!
I am not in Tanzania but Kenya, neighbours yeah!
But I am just so excited to have joined this group that this is my first mail. Though I know You will wonder why someone from Kenya is replying?
You know whenever we travel or go anywhere besides home we look for people who come from home or near home, in the same way I was looking for people from E. Africa and I saw your name so decided to say Hi!
Hope you don't mind. But you should make it a point to come and see your home town. For childhood is the most cherished time one can remember, and once back you will go down your memory lane. It should be nice to be back.
Anyway all the best.
Sukayna

Hello Sukayna,

I do not have a problem with you writing me if you reside in Kenya. My sister-in-law is from Nairobi and have some good friends who llive in Mombasa. It was nice to hear from you.

Yes, I know I should visit home once again. Let us see if god allows me to do so. Please tell me how are political matters in Kenya and Tanzania. I hear all sorts of issues and problems but would like to hear first hand from you. Tell me a little about yourself?

Looking forward to writing you again.

Best Wishes,

Rajmos
