Hi all,
Myself Krupa Raghavan new to IL.It is very useful to me.I love making friends.I have a 2.3 yr old child,Krithika.I need to know about her schooling best suited for indians.I live in Airport road ( near Gemaco furniture). I would like to know a
bout the variety of inners best suited for jeans and skirts avaialable here.

Post preschool we have good schools like Abu DHabi Indian School, Sherwoods Academy, Our Own Indian School, Lil Flower with lots of Indian children .

What exactly are you looking for when you say inners for jeans & skirts..I fail to get the question correctly.

thx a lot fr ur quick reply.by inners i mean bras and panties best suited for jeans and tops...normal indian inners r not suited for tight jeans and tops...special types of inners r available here. for that.i just wanna know the names and varietiesand where r they available...

pls tell me a gud beauty parlour also...

Check Sana & Red Tag at Najda St .. there is a shop at Madinat Zayed Shopping Ctr as well for all kinds of lingerie.

Hi Daffodil...i just want to know...from where can I get good cotton material (like Hakoba) or others to make Kurti Tops as m bugged wearing the western stuffs and I really don't have anythg gud in Indian to wear..I had plans to go to india in november but it is highly doubtful now...Please suggest me one or 2 shop names and also a tailor to stitch..I have gone through the posts of tailor...but so many names are mentioned there. and i am confused ...if u can suggest me one name like Sunita Beaurty parlour..i will be so thankful.

check out Picnic tailors.Its just behind the Swagath restaurant.

There are plenty of fabric shops at Hamdan St behind the jewellery shops.

I've picked up a couple of pieces from Silsila Fabrics (Hamdan St - behind Ajanta Jwlry) & got nice kurtis/tops done.
However I sent it to India for getting the stitching & other work done.

Hv heard there is one Femina Tailors Behind Adil Stores at Electra St..gives good fitting in clothes.
