Hi krupa..u know i met this lady of picnic tailors in a shop and she gave me her visiting card too...i rememeber she is a pakistani n said she also have dress materials...did u try there personally...and yes i also stay near gemaco..nive to know abt u!!!!

I've picked up a couple of pieces from Silsila Fabrics (Hamdan St - behind Ajanta Jwlry) & got nice kurtis/tops done.
However I sent it to India for getting the stitching & other work done.

Hv heard there is one Femina Tailors Behind Adil Stores at Electra St..gives good fitting in clothes.

I think the Femina guy charges roughly Aed 50 for stitching of a top/blouse.

im new to this site.....after reading ur posts i gave some dress materials for stiching at picnin tailors.....lets see.......i wish they do a neat job coz im planning to visit india next month......i picked up those materials from SILSILA.....they have a sale going on i got them for really good rates......the stitching charges at picnin are....35 for normal and 40 with lining......its quite resonable.........

i'll let u know once i get them stitched
