Default Online Credit Card Processing

Can anyone give me information on inexpensive online payment gateway (with good service though)? It should not be a third party merchant account like Paypal, Google Cehckout, etc...

Thanks in advance for your help.

Smile Re: Online Credit Card Processing

Hi Jyotsna,
I did some research on Payment gateways for my own website.
Here are my inputs,

PayPal: Cheapest and best for starters. They charge only transaction fees,There are no setup fees.

Google Checkout : One drawback is,its available only if you reside in the US.Say if you are from India trying to implement it,then Google checkout is not available.

CCAvenue : They charge a Setup fee of Rs.7000 (Economy Scheme) + TDR (Transaction Discount Rate) of close to 7%.If you are in the USA, these rates might differ.

2Checkout: This is also as good as PayPal.But there is a minimal setup fee of Rs.2000 (and TDR %'ages are a lil higher than PayPal).

Hope this helps,

-Lalitha
