| Hi, Thanks for u valueable idea. ![]() I am good at Mehandi art. But i dnt know how to make it as a business. Do u have a idea for it. Pls suggest me to make this art as a home based business. Warm Regards, Sandhya |

| Hi Sandhya Here are my suggestions: Start small & Grow Big. Call up your friends, neighbours, acquaintances etc...and spread the word that you will do Mehndi art for a fee. You can determine the fee how you want to charge. Once you start getting some people, then you can slowly expand. Hope this helps. Cheers Jenz

I see that you are in India. You already have a good client base. So, a good start :) 1) First of all, let all your friends know abt your talent. Ask your husband/brother/father/or anyone who works for a company to tell their colleagues abt you. 2) If possible, make a small 2-3 pages website with your designs on it. Believe me, this makes a lot of difference. people can see your designs and can easily spread the word. 3) With the festival season coming ( Diwali, etc), women would love to have mehandi on their hands. Target this season. 4) You can target weddings, birthday parties ( girls love it), festivals. 5) Give clients options ( only 1 hand, both hands, front and back, etc etc) 6) Talk to a beauty parlor in your area if they would be interested in giving you some space in their parlor. Lot of parlors like to provide all services in their shop and thus attracting more customers. I will try and think of more ideas. Will definitely let you know if I come up with anything more. You have a great talent, utilize it. Cheers, Anjali |
