I would be glad to share my website with all of you here. Unfortunately, I cannot post URL here as per IL rules.

Since we can't see your URL, we won't be able to advise you on the site design and give you our opinions.

But, we can give you more ideas to promote your site :)
Just yesterday I went for a small Jewelery exhibition that was held by a Indian lady. She did it at her home and it was done professionally. You can try something like that too. Invite friends, neighbors. Even if they don't buy now, they will definitely remember you during the upcoming festival season.

When it comes to jewelery, women like to look, feel and try it out. Ask friends who live in your neighboring cities if you can hold a small exhibition at their place and then invite Indians and friends there.

And at every exhibition you hold, keep lots and lots of your business cards.

Thanks Anjali for your suggestions/tips. They are very useful, as I am new to jewelry business. So far, I am doing good as I am selling 'One Gram Gold' jewelry sets and many girls in US are interested in them. If you search in Google for 'One Gram Gold Jewelry', you will see my site in shopping results on top of the search results page.

I appreciate your time and looking forward for more business tips.

Is it under Siri??
If yes, then I checked it out and it looks good.
I thought that the pics needed to be more clear though. When I click on the thumbnail pic then the enlarged pic needs to be a bit bigger. I could not see the design ery clearly. And from the thumbnail pics they do look very beautiful. I think you have got a very beautiful selection here.

I think with good marketing, you definitely will do good.

Yes Anjali. Thats my site. Thanks for your input. I am working on improving the picture quality, trying different options in taking those pictures. I may have to invest in an expensive camera.

Regards,

Jyotsna.

Jyotsna,
Actually I think you have a decent camera but your lighting needs work. The pics are clear but don't have enough light on it.
Try this -
Buy white foam boards from Target, Wal mart and make a white Light box out of it. Shine bright lights into this box, keep the jewelry and take pic WITHOUT the camera flash. You will see amazing difference with this technique.

Try it and let me know. Google for " Homemade Light Box" and you will find some really good sites for making one.

Hope this helps.
Anjali

Anajali,

Thanks for your suggestion. I googled about photo box/tent and found lot of sites for this. Based on that information, I have made a photo box and did take the pictures with flash off. But I did not get the good picture out of this. Something I am doing wrong. I will keep trying to get better picture with all the suggestions from those photo box websites and hopefully I can master this soon.
