New Business

Hai All,

We are planning to open a new business in Bangalore at Padmanabhanagar Area or surrounding areas of Banashankari 2nd stage & we are not getting the Retail Shop for getting started.We are very worried. We have taken the dealership of 20 ltr mineral water distribution to offices, factories, houses, functions etc., But at present we have kept all those 50 nos 20 ltr cans in our home. But we are not getting publicity. We made some visitng cards & pamplets. Still it does'nt work.

I need some help & contacts from this site. So that I will be very much grateful. And you will be encouraging me as well in future.

We do some other small business side by side, but still we have to grow further.

My husband undertakes installation of Gas Geasers, Solar Water Heater, Electrical Chimney & Tank cleaning.

We sell Chikmagalur Coffee Powder for very reasonable price.

about water cans:

u can approach local shops, suply at a rupee lesser than what major brands do. but make sure u r the dealer.

It is not always visiting cards & pamphlets work. What are the other marketing techniques you have tried, if you can share??? Before answering even that, what was your idea behind taking this dealership & distribution??? Answering this, you should be half way ready to sell your product.

Think about it this way - if someone were to approach you and say they have opened a new sari / salwar shop and they want you to become customer (leaving the place from where you have been buying in all these years)....what would be your first question and what would you expect as an answer?
Extend such a question & answer session for your business and try to find answers.

Why should someone buy the water cans from you? What will make them move away from their existing routine purchase or supplier to you etc.

Hi Shambavi,

You can also approach small offices, day cares etc in your area and offer to supply them water for a little less price than what they are getting now.

Not everyone may switch to you but it is worth a try.
