My marriage just got finalised for January and we are going to have an elaborate iyer wedding at chennai..
I will be grateful if someone can point me towards good kalyana mandapams in and around west mambalam/ashok nagar/saligramam/vadapalani in chennai..
we may have close to 500-800 ppl for the wedding..

we are also looking for suggestions on good caterers..how much it would cost for a decent caterer and mandapam for 2 days.

my parents have just transferred to chennai and we are worried abt all the arrangements..

New Woodlands has a hall and they do full service catering, they will not allow caterers from outside. Saravana Bhavan serves the best vegetarian food, they have lots of option, every caterer charges by per person, so you have to come up with a head count and then calculate your cost. The two mandapams inside the hotel Kanchi are used for various events and ceremonies. While the Meenakshi Mandapam can accommodate more than 500 persons, the Kanchi Mandapam is perfect for a gathering of more than 1000 people.
