Isn't it sad that a kid of about 10yrs is made to ask for peace at home, as a birthday gift....from his parents...

Yet another great peice from you.

I am really moved, seeing such kids in real life. They are torn between their love for the parents and the parents indifference towards them.

In many cases it is possible that after a certain point the parents can go for 1+ income instead of double income. Where, the wife can take up something part time, and devote valuable time for the child / children.

But alas, many of the girls have the attitude why should i compromise.

Many girls do have this attitude no doubt. In fact they are supported in this attitude by their mothers too.. Have seen too many real life examples..
