1. soak kadalla parrupu for 1 hr
2. boiled kadalaparupu when it's come half boiled add vallathandu
3.it's little more time to take boiled, add salt .add thalipu
if you want add small onion and coconut, it's very nice taste.

hi,
this one is from my mother in law,
vala thandu - cut into small squares, after cutting put it into water , uses a fork or stick and whip around for some time , the naru will come out . one some of it comes out , you can cook it. Remember to cut only the good part inside.
Onion - 1
Chillies-2
kadala parupu
kadugu
oil
Process:
Season with kadugu, kadalaparupu, curry leaves
add green chillies, onion fry
add vala thandu some water and cook until done....
remember it doesnt have much taste or smell great
just good for health - reduces BP level and removes excess salt from body...

Thanks Chituapr and Aharia
I have a doubt for the Valaai Thandu juice which Aharia has told.
I s it that it does not need any cooking. Can we drink that raw. And also if we strain the valaai thandu juice, does the naaru comes out or we have take it out by any other method.

Poriyal : Method 1:-
Chop the veggie into very small squares and boil along with turmeric. Once cooked well remove it from fire. In a kadai temper mustard seeds, splikt urad dhal, green chillies, curry leaves and a pinch of asafoetida in a teaspoon of oil. Now add boiled vegggie, let it saute for few minutes and finally add grated coconut.
Some add crushed garlic instead of asafoetida while tempering and red chillies instead of green chillies.

Raitha:
Finely chop and cook veggie well. Once done spread and cool it well.
In a small tempering laddle heat 1/2 tsp of oil add mustard seeds, finely chopped onion(a handfull), curry leaves - saute slightly.
Beat curd, add salt, chopped green chillies, few spoons of grated coconut, seasoned items. Mix well and serve with fresh coriander leaves.
