hi friends,
sorry for the delay. let me start with sweet.
PAAL KOZHUKATTAI
Ingredients:
rice flour - 1 cup
jaggery - 1 cup (as per the sweetness of the jaggery change the amount)
shredded coconut - 1/2 cup
cardomom powder little
whole milk - 1 cup
water
Method:
  • 1. Add boiling water into the rice flour & mix them without any lumps like poori dough consistancy.
  • 2. Take 1/4th of the dough out & add water with the 1/4th dough to make dosa dough consistancy & keep aside.
  • 3. Make balls with the remaining 3/4th dough.
  • 4. Now boil milk & jaggery together.
  • 5. Wait until jaggery dissolves.
  • 6. Add rice balls 4 to 5 at time.
  • 7. Once that balls cooked they will come up & float.
  • 8. Repeat steps 6&7 until all the balls are over.
  • 9. Once all the balls came up add coconut in it.
  • 10. Stir for a while now add cardamom power & mix well.
  • 11. Now add watery rice flour in it & mix well. Make sure there are no lumps.
  • 12. Stir it continuously.
  • 13. Before the milk gets spoil remove from the heat.
Now delicious Paal kozhukattai is ready to serve. Serve it when it is hot.
Note: Cook this in medium or lower medium heat.
I think u ladies love it.
