The painter par excellence

World's greatest painter,
He took up his brush,
made sky his canvas
and splashed it with colours.

Colours that make one go crazy,
yet to Him it seemed so easy!
A dash of red and a jab of grey,
a sprinkle of yellow and an orange spray.

And now for the graphics, animation and sound
to create a 3-d effect all around!
He waved His wand and lo, presto!
The painter at work, I watched spell-bound.

Quietly He vanished, His work complete.
A petty mortal, I watch baffled.
No computer, no power-point, He has with Him I see.
And yet He could create a magnificent sight!

The world awakens to the sound effect
of birds and beasts at their very best.
The rising sun makes animation perfect.

Thank you Chitra, for the compliments. I believe everybody has multiple in-built talents. But we make the choices of what we want to pursue. Though I have a lot many talents to tap, I have concentrated on poetry writing and service. Amidst my routine jobs, that was what I could give my time for . May be in the future I would like to try on my other latent talents.
I am sure you too must be good at poetry if you put your heart and soul into it. Why dont you try one for my sake and post it in this site! Eagerly waiting for the post.If you have starting trouble, I shall give you a topic to write on- "birth day"
to start with.
