my mom has received a donor eye some years back she is a diabetic and the eye is of help to her to alteast go about her activities at home..

the receiving end ..thoughts are a little different..
........
my brother registered with a bangalore centre who had advertised that they perform eye transplants to people above seventy ..we had lost hope of getting my moms eyes restored ..then there was a call from the centre,,my mom answered it ''can be come to the centre immediately they asked..mom was excited she rang up my brother and sisters ..we were all praying it took an hour or so to reach ..then a few tests ..we were praying hoping she didnt have sugar high or bp..the wait sure killed our patience ..she was fitted with the new eye..
yes she could see a little..a lot depends on the health of the optic nerve.. so atleast that she was happy..with diabetes rising its difficult to maintain that way..
but to think one person dies ( accident victims are more generous in donating..!) and the other person gets to see..HIS wish again..

very nice of u. Dhaan nathil sirandha dhaanam kan dhaanam,i have the same dream to donate my eye,but i thought b4 that if my eyes have gone means what i will do:icon_frown:,letz see i pray god to keep me fit to help others.not only eyes,maximum which parts will help others.
