Default Happy " Janmashtami" to you all...May Lord Krishna bless you friends...

Lord of the three worlds

He is the dark blue rain cloud of compassion
quenching the thirsty quest of our souls
The nectarine sweet notes of His flute
fill rhythmic harmony in the three worlds
The beautiful enchanting face of His-
radiant with the refulgence of the full moon-
is the Supreme vision His votaries meditate on

Sages and exalted souls seek His support
surrendering totally at His lotus-like feet
submerging themselves in the surging ecstatic bliss
extolling constantly attributes and virtues of His

His childhood exploits,
His valorous deeds
His seductive charm,
His infinite grace
enchant the entire Universe
fill it with divine effulgence…

He is Lord Krishna , the primordial one
The omni- potent one
whom we should adore and venerate
to attain salvation and liberation

Default Hare Krishna!

Dear Ambika,

You have brought Janmashtami to IL with elan. What a sweet poem! You had me with the first line itself. 'He is the dark blue rain cloud of compassion'- this one line crowns it all.

May Krishna continue to be born in our hearts and homes!

regards
Vidya

Default Great Poem, As Usual, Ambika!

Dear Ambika,
What should I say, Welcome, or Welcome Back? And true to your character you have come with a bang. But the bang was sweeter this time as it came along with the birth of the world's most enchanting flautist, Lord Krishna. Himself.
I liked the words,
submerging themselves in the surging ecstatic bliss
extolling constantly attributes and virtues of His
There could not be a better description of our Surrender to God. Surging ecstatic bliss is language at its best when it attempts to do the impossible - to describe the state beyond the comprehension of senses.
May your second innings in IL be as great as your first. May Lord Krishna bless you and yours.
regards,
sridhar

Default thanks so much...

Dear Rathi and Kamla

Yes, Krishna's ways are mysterious...He is the pillar of strength and wings of freedom to human activities...He again brought me into that zone of comfort and love called "I L"...
Always will cherish your kind words..
