 A D-i-l’s Diary A d-i-l’sDiary (In the hands of the spying m-i-l!) Life is like a dream! With dear hubby by my side! With pink tinted glasses, Now I view this world! The things I used to hate, Are now my fa-vou-rite! I made all his tastes That of mine too! The things I loved most, I’ve sacrificed for my dear’s sake! Life sure is rosy When love is in the air! Two months have flown by! With not a count of time! Days return to normalcy And the honeymoon is over! Back to routine of life! He is back to office, And so am I too! Life goes on mundanely! All of a sudden, There’s joy in the air! We’re in celebration mode! I’m going to be a mom! Oh, what a joy! To experience motherhood! I am a pampered lot! And I add on weight! Nine months and a week! My flesh and blood is here! A cute and chubby babe! To keep my soul awake! Years role by! Parenting is a thrill! And tough at times too! Yet it’s fun and joy! ......................................... A note by the m-i-l! One day you’ll be m-i-l too! Go through my diary dear! In the attic you’ll find for sure! I have not decided whether it will be in prose form or poetry! I shall try out both, whichever comes out to my satisfaction will be dedicated to all young women who will in future be m-i-ls!
