The joys of giving

Have you experienced the joy of giving?
Just give to understand what I'm saying...
Do not hoard for posterity
Just give what you have in excess to the needy

Giving increases your joys manifold
Excessive things will only stress you more
Free yourselves and home of all the clutter
Whatever another says - dont dither

Only a giving hand can receive
And God's gifts you can perceive
When you are lighter in head and hearth
Ensuring greatness of your life and breath.

Good one. Ihave expeienced the joys of giving. There was a time when i used to expect from others as we were not so well off. But now by God's grace He has given us everything. So I give whatever i can to the needy.
Give to the world the best u have and the best will come back to u.

I remember Swami Sivananda's words here where he says "give in charity one-tenth of your income or one anna per rupee".Lesser wants greater happiness, truly -love sathya
