In a shocking incident laying bare superstition, a 15-year-old girl fell a victim to her father’s weird wish at a village in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal after the latter married her citing “divine instruction” and she is now five months pregnant, according to reports reaching here. Things would not have come to light had not Kashijhora villagers accidentally sighted the girl when she had stepped out of her hut for cleaning the yard, police quoting the villagers said. The villagers who were surprised to see her pregnant, made enquiries with Afizuddin Ali, 38, her father about the time of marriage. Ali, a daily wager with five children, confessed to the villagers that he had married his eldest daughter about six months ago following “divine advice”. The “divine advice”, Ali claimed, was received in his dream and thereafter, he convinced his wife and daughter about the need for carrying it out “in a faithful manner”. Villagers angry When the angry villagers asked him why he did not inform his neighbours about his dream, Ali had no answer. Ali’s silence incensed the villagers, some of whom beat him up and accosted his wife too. The village head informed the Banarhat police station about this illegal marriage. Ali held The police arrested Ali and his wife and produced the duo along with the daughter at the office of the district sub-divisional officer (SDO) on Monday. Sub-divisional officer Atany Ray said it was a criminal case and directed the police to produce the couple at the court of the sub-divisional judicial magistrate in Jalpaiguri town at the earliest.

you know something I watch only headlines of news, weather report, gold and silver rate and i stopped the habbit of readg newspapers just to hide myself from comg across such news or articles.

I trust the whole world does exist for and only for the good to the good and by the good. when it runs short of good let the whole universe degrade and form a new.

May I request though such posts are for sharing the nightmares which is a fact are absolutely to bring awareness and nothing else and nobody has intentions to scare or frighten someone but still there are other sources to do it and why not we share something in IL that brings confidence and good hopes 2wards life.

And lathamurali I too came across a family who killed the whole family ya.
There were 2 brothers this is a very very rich family i don't want to mention the name.
As everyone in the south knows them. The younger brother was very soft spoken, kind caring and very happy with his wife and 3 kids, but the elder one is just the opposite the younger one had borrowed some money from elder bro but he couldn't repay it back so the whole family was killed and gave the name in the papers that they sucieded. World is full of horrible things.

'Father-daughter is marriage void'


MUZAFFARNAGAR: Leading Islamic seminary Darul Uloom Deoband has declared the marriage of a 37-year-old man with his teenaged daughter in West Bengal as null and void and ruled that the girl's impregnation by her father will be treated as rape and the culprits will be punishable under the Shariat laws.

In a shocking incident, a daily wage labourer named Afizuddin Ali married his teenage daughter and made her pregnant, citing "divine sanction" at Kashiajhora village in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal recently.

Stating that Islam prohibits such marriages, Darul Uloom Deoband in its ruling described the marriage as shameful and illegal according to the Shariat law.

The ruling issued by the incharge of the Fatwa department of the Islamic seminary Mufti Habibur Rehman asked the couple to break the relationship immediately to avoid harsh punishment.
