| Hi all, Rakshabandhan ka tyohaar aur gujiya na ho ,aisa ho hi nahi sakta. Gujia is one sweet delicacy that is made especially on the occasion of rakhi or raksha bandhan. Gujia tastes as good as the brother-sister relation ship. Try this on coming Rakshabandhan. Ingredients:
mix 150 grams of sugar in water and boil it to make syrup of 1 string consistency. keep aside. on low fire fry khoya add sugar,coconut, cardamom powder,nuts and kewra essence. cook till sugar mixes with khoya well. now dip the bread slices in water, squeeze excess water,fill the khoya mixture and seal them. deep fry till they are golden in colour. dip these gujias in sugar syrup. remove and drain excess sugar syrup. garnish with silver foil. serve it on a plate. |

| Hi all! I use to cook Gujiya different which is very common recipe in North India.It is very famous Sweet dish for Rakshabandhan. Ingredients: For the Cover : 500 gms Maida 6 tblsp Oil / Ghee (melted) For the Filling : 500-600 gms Khoya 1/2 tsp green Cardamom Powder 25 gms chopped Almonda 25 gms Raisins (किशमिश) 25 gms dried Coconut 350 gms Sugar (चीनी ) or to taste Method:
