You can also make multiple choices in the vote...that is absolutely alright.

If you have not tried "Subway" then you can try the veggie delight with the veggies of your choice and of course you can skip the cheese...it is definitely good..!

But depends on where you live in US, you may or may not have access to the indian fast food items.

It's great to read all the items you have listed..and yes Ice creams can probably come under the category..."others"

It is a wonderful experience to imagine the smell and taste of all the foods that we like !! Especially when we see it on tv...i wish they would have a smell-o-vision in the station !

Even I used to be very fussy when I was young..always inclining towards rice items..but now..even though I am a vegetarian..within the restricted choices..i do tend to explore a lot.

As you mentioned, having Pizza once in a while is ok...but with kids..need to make it often at home..since it is much cheaper and healthier when we prepare ourselves.

You can make multiple choices, Oviya..!

i prefer north indian fast food like pav-bhaji, bhel-puri, pani-puri, dahi-puri etc etc. the list is long and while typing my mouth is watering.

Surprising...even I've lived there in the Bay area for 5 years..and there are so many north and south indian fast food eateries there..right?

Have you tried the Madras Cafe in Mountain view? It is really awesome...especially my kids love their mini idlies with sambar and veggie dosa..!

Even in Fremont, there are many chats open left and right...don't you like their taste?

You are absolutely correct about the summers in chennai. Since I was born and brought up in Chennai, I am well aware of the hot hot summers and ofcourse no winters..

Even here in Virginia, summers become hot like Chennai, and we feel like eating something cold all the time. Moreover, we don't feel hungry when the weather is very hot..makes us want to consume more cold drinks.

I eat fast food not quite often as most of my family members never give me any company......And also hubby is not at all fond of fast food.......
But I had tried my best to change him and he could now gulp some pani-puris with me...but again hates eating in road side stalls......but I don't mind .......
I don't relish Subs or Pizza nor South Indian dishes as fats food items but prefer more fried things like Bada Pao......Bhels.......Sez Puri.........Papdi Chaat, spring rolls and egg/veg rolls........yummy..... etc......
Me and my brother are best companion to eat fast food really fast.......
U have increased my hunger now.......so going to have my launch........

I have tasted in almost all the stores but we really don't get that Indian touch to it. I don't know that is my opinion we never get masala puri here that we get in Bangalore. I have tasted Idlis they are hard.

I really miss that south indian touch to chaats.

When I began voting and ticked the first , then the second and when I finished I saw that I had voted almost all! Boy do I really eat all these, but I do and I love it!

Personally at home as a part of these that youve mentioned I make Tacos and cannapes.
