    Organ Donation - Noble Act

Organ donation is one of the Noble ways to reach divine abode.
Organs can be donated when a person is living or after the death of the person.
A living person can donate Organs, as long as the donation does not affect the life/wellbeing of the donor.
After the death of the person, with the consent of the family members, the dead persons organs may be donated.

As long as the donation is not done to gain materially or not done as a business, Organ donation is a divine act.
By donating Organs, We can give life to several people at the same time.
Pledging one’s organs to be donated after death is a noble and meritorious act and is to be encouraged as an expression of generous solidarity. However, it is not morally acceptable if the donor or his next of kin has not given explicit consent. Moreover, it is not morally admissible to bring about the disabling mutilation or death of a human being, even in order to delay the death of other persons.”
Being willing to donate an organ from our own bodies would be a great example of selfless sacrifice for another.

One of the most compelling arguments for organ donation is the love, mercy and compassion involved in such an act."I would like to help someone to live even after my death."

Let us remember a favourite bumper sticker which reads as follows: "Don't take your organs to heaven, because heaven knows we need them here".Go on, pledge your organs; help save lives.
