    Also Use Olive Oil in cooking ( limited amount only), it increase good cholestrol thus decreasing the bad cholestrol.
    Daily have two pcs of almond and walnut. The effect is same like Olive oil

    If you want to reduce your cholestrol level than avoid a oily foods,junk foods etc.because it increase cholestrol level.do a regular exercise,drink water.

    Thanks for the tips gals,

    My Mom too has a strict diet regime to bring down her cholesterol. She completely avoids oily stuff, fried and junk food, egg yolk, aerated drinks, bakery items like white breads, puffs and pastries and she mostly sticks to a vegetarian diet except for fish once in a while.

    These days, problems like cholesterol and BP are on the rise. It is the lifestyle that is the main cause of all these ailments. The best we an do is to keep all these in check by just maintaining a good diet

    Hi All,

    I too agree with all of you for avoiding oily food,fried stuff.Eat Vegetables and fruits and walk for 30min or exercise.If you are sitting in front of PC for long hours take a break for every 45min..just walk around and come back.Other wise it will effect in long run.I learned in hard way,so I would like to share these tips.Eat Broccoli,protein rich food.Eat small portions of food couple of times in a day than taking a big lunch.Have an early dinner and walk in the evening.Keep an eye on what is your intake.Hope this helps :)

    Fish is as good as Olive Oil. You need to either bake it or make a curry. Avoid fried fish as it kills the essence of eating fish itself.
