    Hi
The ratio is 1 : 3. 1 cup rice - 3 cups water. I use the rice cooker.
Let me know how it turned out.

1:3 should be good enough to cook.

    Hi Jignasha,

If you soak the rice for 30 - 45 min. the ratio should be only 1:2 (2 cups water for 1 cup rice). I always cook like this only and I won't get any stickynes.
For 30 min. of soaking almost 1 cup of water will be absorbed by the rice and so you need to add only 2 cups while cooking.

    Regards,
    Latha.

You have to use twice as much water as rice and cook slow. It cooks better in a rice cooker. Also- DO NOT open the lid. Just cook 2 cups water to 1 cup brown rice and cook 25 min or so on med heat.

How has it happened that the delicious full, nutty flavor and highly nutritious brown rice has become a forgotten secret?

Thanks Jaya:) i tried 1:3 having 5 to 6 whistles and then keeping it in low flame for like 10-15 min. Rice is well cooked but its not fluffy.. so i started boiling the rice and once cooked wil strain the remaining water using strainer. It helps:)
