Breakfast like a King

    "Breakfast like a King".....how true and how many of us do it....?:hiya
    We should make sure that everyone at home is not skipping breakfast...especially kids.Why?...The long period without food can cause physical,intellectual and behavioral problems in them....I know it is very difficult to make a kid have breakfast, but I tried making a Colourful chart of breakfast foods and their benefits and situation is improving at home....:thumbsup
    Indian breakfast foods are mostly well-balanced..:)...


    Idli+Chutney+Sambar= Carbohydrates( Rice)+Proteins( Urad dal and Toor dal)+Vitamins and minerals( from the cereals and vegetables)+Fiber

    Roti+Subji+Dhal+Ghee= Carbohydrates+ Proteins+Vitamins and minerals.+Fiber..

    Stuffed Parathas=Complete and yummy....
    Pongal+Sambar=Wholesome.....
    Rava Kichadi...= Complete breakfast..
    Veg Sandwich.....
    A banana/Apple
    Veg Utthappams... ofcourse with.paneer and cheese

    Not to forget our cereals....Ragi, Makai...and Oats....let us unleash our creativity and make these tasty and appealing:thumbsup
    Cornflakes with honey,dry fruits and nuts......

    Let us begin our day with a good breakfast and charge ourselves with power and energy and enjoy each day....:)...What say?:)
