Default congrats,Mrs Pankaja!

Dear Mrs Pankaja,

Congrats on this honour. Of all forms of writing, writing humour and writing for children are the ones that are most difficult and most rewarding. To put a smile, and beyond that, a laugh, in a person's face and heart, is a rare gift. And one that you have been endowed with. Please accept my namaskarams and greetings on this.

Vidyasarada, thanks for bringing this to our notice.

warm regards
Vidya

Default Hearty Congratulations, Dear Pankaja!

Dear Pankaja,
Accept my hearty congratulations. As a writer I know by hard experience that humour is the toughest genre for us. It is easy to make one's readers cry (and I am famous for that) but to make them laugh, you need to have some really, really good stuff.
I know Pankaja about your abilities in the field of humour. Even a casual conversation with you will throw light on that. And now I am doubly happy to know that a formal recognition in the form of an Award has come your way. May you live many years to receive many more such awars. May you write many books and keep your fans always in good humour.

With Warm Regards,
sridhar

Default Sorry,saw it now!

Dear Vidyasarada,Chitra,Vidya,Meenu,Varalotti,and Seethalakshmi,
So many people congratulating me so profusely,(enough to make even a dead celebrity arise and dance with joy!) and I not being aware of it ! Today when our Ambika rang me up and told me, I remembered the popular saying of Byron-'One morn I woke up and found myself famous'!
Vidyasarada, First I must thank you; It give me great pride to know that you read Kannada(Or in Deccan Herald?)Are you really my fan?
Varalotti sir, once again you have boosted my ego!I will try hard to justify your certificate.
Chitra dear, You are my favourite sister. I too feel like seeing you after hearing so much from our Sridhar, but at present Chennai and Karnatake don't seem to be on good terms. But, 'give the lion its due'being my policy, I admire you for your allround accomplishments!
Meenu,Seethalakshmi, Thanks is a small word ;May it convey all my best wishes in a big way!
Nuggehalli Pankaja
