I have read this book several times. I feel this is more relevant in the present career concious society. The couples who are profession concious wnts to delay the process of rearing children. Wasn't Dibs a victim of such attitude?
Again many educational institutions insist children score high per centage. The rest of them are left to themselves. Ofcourse I respect a pertinent question put forward by Dibs to the heads of such institutions? As students don't they have a right to join any institution.
It's for the authorities to mould them , make them excel -excel not only in terms of percentage but to excel in life. That is called education and educationist failing in this aspect is more than a student failing to keep up his/her institutional standards. kanaka
