| hi pragathi, Now a days mills and boon are below the normal quality...and have become very costly...and all the routine stuff....got bored. Nora roberts is writing good... and also sandra brown... memoirs of a geisha is good.....

the book called 'Leopard in the snow" by anne mather...is good as a movie also. then there are lot of danielle steels books adopted into good running serials.. you know aka bhatt khandaan ka khwaish...loosely copied from erich segal's love story...but it was a blunder from the start go.... Very few books have been justified as good movies.... look at how pride and prejudice had been manipulated into la to amritsar...jane austen sure would be squirming in her grave...

| Hi, For me the most romantic book i have read would have to be 'Bridges of Madison County', but since i am a Mills and Boon fan i would say that all the romances are nice. I like the ones written Barbara Cartland where all the hero's are tall dark and handsome and all the heroines are fair ,small and beautiful. Talk of stereotypes, but i still enjoy them. Cheers Uma |

| There are lots of books I cherished for their romantic content. What comes to mind immediately are Scaramouche by Rafael Sabatini, The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baronness Orczy |

| Hi From my side: Bridges of Madison County Love Story (Erich Segal) these two definitely top the list! I have to refresh my memories on other books I read or browse through my book shelf....for it has been long since I read fiction! So will come back soon with more names :) Cheers Jenz

| Well, I love Nora Roberts' books.... But 'Message in a Bottle' by Nicholas Sparks[/url] would be the one for me. Not the movie but the actual novel. Also in my favorites list is Nicholas Sparks' 'A Walk to Remember'. All of Jane Austin's books are my favorite too. The list never ends. I wish I had more time to make this list even longer. But with a long commute to work, 2 kids and story books fit for 5yr old and 1 1/2 yr old, there doesn't seem to be enough hours in my day for this hobby. InduSri |

| Nicholas Sparks' 'The Notebook' is my fav romantic fiction. I like all his books though. Raj |

| Pride and Prejudice is my all-time fav too - I have re-read it a million times... I also love Georgette Heyer Any other GH fans out here? PS - I saw someone earlier said that movies don't come close to the original. While generally true, I love the 6-hour BBC version of P&P that starred Colin Firth. For days I was walking around with stars in my eyes |
