Suggest Lord Subramanya names

Hello,

I wanted to request names for a baby boy based on Lord Subramanya's names.
My cousin is soon to be blessed with a baby boy and they are devotees of Lord Subramanya.

They are looking for names based on the Lord, at the same time looking modern and easy to pronounce too.

Dear Shivani,
There is a very rare nae of the Lord - Kankeyan. One of my friend has that name.
Try Shravan or Shravan Kumar (its like Saravanan). Kathirvel, Sakthivel, Skandan.
You can try the Kandashashti kavacham for more names.

I always keep looking out for Lord Muruga names, my favorite God bieng Muruga.

I'm posting here few names and hope your friends like few of them.

Kathir (to sound little modern derived from Kathirvel as mentioned by Varloo)
Keerthi (It means victory and associated to Vetrivel)
Krithik (my husband's cousin recently named his baby boy based on the Lord Muruga's star Krithigai)

these are not modern - but sounds pakka names of Muruga

I pulled out this thread discussing & suggesting Lord Muruga names. I too had some suggestions in this thread earlier. Now, it's my turn to ask for suggestions...

My request for Lord Muruga names is slightly different. I need Muruga names that will go well with a girl name - prefixed or suffixed to the girl name.

Say - Shanmuga Priya - Shanmuga prefixed with the girl name Priya, a typical one!

Similarly, if I have chosen a girl name say - 'Kavya', I am looking for suggestions for Lord Muruga names that goes well with it.

One thing I am mainly trying to take care here is that the name not getting too long with 2 names put together!

Kindly give your suggestions. I will greatly appreciate it.

I had been hunting for Muruga names in this aspect by going through lots of Murugan slokams, songs, etc. but in vain.
