I am sure you will be able to get names from Subrahmanya ashtothatam or similar slokas, but Skanda, Kumar for boys and Krithika, Karthika, Valli, Devasena for girls come to mind...

Devisri,

Congratulations on the twins! My DH too is an ardent devotee of Muruga and we were looking for names just like you. These are the websites I used:
Names of Lord Murugan, Lord Karthikeya names, Tamil Murugan names, Tamil baby names
108 Names of Skanda: Sri Subrahmanya Ashtottara Sata Namavali
Names of Muruga

As we had a girl, I havent used any of the names from these. Good luck!

Regards,
Anitha

Hello

My daughter's name is Mayuri and tho' the book says "peahen" the priest explained it is a 'pretty girl and it's linked to Lord Muruga'.

Other popular names here are Desigan and Kumaran.

Best wishes
Neesha

Hi, That's really very nice to know that you are soon expecting twins.
Am also a very strong devotee of Lord Murugan. You can probably include 'Sharan' (short form of Saravanan) & Guhan -- for boy babies. Will soon check and add similar names for girl babies..
Just wanted to add -- i was blessed with a boy baby early this year by Lord Murugan & it was a great feeling when i came to know that my son was born under the star 'Karthigai' which is His nakshatram ..
We never know how we will be blessed by Him for our faith & devotion.
