cute baby girl name Medha Vs Prajna

Hi all,

we want to give our baby girl best name. we finalised two names Medha(Intelligent, Goddess Saraswati) and Prajna(Wisdom, Goddess Saraswati). Both are equal in meaning wise. so pls advice which name will be the best of these two.

Hi Prameela , As you said I feel both are equal . I'd suggest to decide it based on birth star or date of birth

hii i prefer medha.. i think its less complicated to pronounce and very sweet sounding

Even I like the name Medha...short and sweet!!!!

PS: Call out both the names a few times & call both the names along with the surname to get a feel.... You will be surprised how a name sounds different once the surname is added!

Prajna is different name and sounds good.
Medha is also different but in future her classmates should not tease her asking - are you medhai so kept like that? There are chances for friends to tease her !

My opinion is always we should choose a name so that in future our kid's friends or her friends who are boys(main teasers of the world) will not tease like..,

I have seen many of my friends get teased for their names(they cant even blame their parents also sometimes) !!

Both the names are cute and difficult to choose from . I guess Prajna is even more cutter. Its been a while since you posted this ,have you finalized the name?
