Meaning of a name...

My friend is chosen a name - Mrinalini - for her little angel. I'm not sure if it is a ceylonese name, but was suggested by a ceylonese family. They too are not aware of the meaning.

Is there anyone here who have come across this name? If you know the meaning please do share.

sorry 4 the late replay. Krithin means famous, celebrity. Excatly it means FAME.

i born on krithigai star, so my parents named me krithin followed by my middle name.

krithin is a boy name. so, u can name ur nephew without hesitation.

BTW my wishes 2 ur sister.

Krith means famous person and also it is the other name for Lord Ayyappa or Manikanda.I found this out after a lot of research.I have named my son Aayush Jaikrith.
