Does the name Kamini relate to goddess ishwari ? My niece is named Kamini Kurup and we wanted to give her name of goddess actually. I know that the literal meaning means beautiful woman.

is another way to refer Parvati Devi . Kamini alone in general does not mean Iswari

I think Kamini means beautiful woman who is loveable or can trigger feelings for love in any man.

Check this out when you niece grows up if her walking on the streets make men ... *just kidding ok.

I was reading "Lakshmi Stotram" and I found the name "Kamini"...So I think this is another name for Goddess Lakshmi...
