now days the trend is individuality. go ahead and select a name which you like/ liked .. and short ones at that.
i find dictionary the best place and if you are religious.. look for words in shlokas and mantras.

Congrats! Welcome to the world of fatherhood!
I suggest you refer the names listed in holy Lalita Sahasranamam, Lakshmi Sahasranamam or Parvathi Sahasranamam. There are lots of nice sounding, but not so common names in these works. My wife and I had a lot of fun time poring over these and finally we selected a name "Anagha" meaning "pure and sinless girl" for our baby.

For your case, a quick look at the holy Lalita Sahasranamam alone gives me names like
