Please help me deciding name to my son

Hello all,

I am really struggling to find a nice name for my son. After searching & filtering names from different websites we have decided to name my son Neel.
As I don't have many friends here. Please help me how this name sounds?

Neel is a wonderful name. Of all the meanings I know it is blue or the bluish guy (Krishna/Rama). Congratulations.

It is simple and sweet - also means Shiva (as in neelakanta) but yes as Venonimiss says, it means blue, meaningful for us Indians. Simple to pronounce for westerners where Neal is quite a common name. Good luck.

Neel/Neil is a nice name! It is one of the very few names which me and my hubby unanimaously liked and narrowed down for our baby!
