Hi:
I understand from the USCIS website that starting March 5, 2008, persons wanting a re-entry permit to the U.S. cannot simply apply for one and leave the country. Starting that date, applicants have to wait for an appointment for fingerprinting/photo session/interview. Applicants are advised not to leave the U.S. before fingerprinting is done.
Has anyone any info about how long is the wait for the fingerprinting appointment after filing the application for re-entry, with particular reference to the New Jersey area?
Thank you for any and all info,
Geetha
