 One important query abt L2 & L1 visa hi all, My co-sister is working here for her client company(L1 visa), her husband too is working(in L2). All of a sudden her project was winded up, and she has been asked to go back to offshore i.e., India next week. Some people say that her husband must also go back with her since L2 visa holders are not permitted to stay without the L1 holder. Some say it is not a strict rule. Can anybody help with this matter..Plz do reply... thanks      |

| Re: One important query abt L2 & L1 visa As far as I know,L2 is a dependent visa on L1.If L1 is no longer employed here and has to go back,L2 visa holder also has to leave. |

| Re: One important query abt L2 & L1 visa Hi, The L2 visa is valid only till the validity of L1. Hence if your co-sisters L1 visa is not cancelled by her organisation, then her husbands L2 visa is till valid till the date of I-94. Anu |
