| Hi Can anyone explain the differece between having a PIO or Visa ? We are expecting our little one in the month of July....i though we require both ?!! ![]() |

| PIO card is valid for 15 years.. ur baby can visit india any number of times, without a visa, during those 15 years.and he/she can stay 6months in india during each visit.if u want to stay more than 6 months, then u hav to get a police clearence in india for the baby. then the baby can stay as long as u wish, even for years, at the same time without losing US citizenship. hope this helps u. |
