Hi Rose,

If your sister has moved here on H1 B, she would already be having a job...isn't that so?? Or is she looking for a change in job??

Aarushi

Unhappy Re: Need Help to Find Work - H1B

Hey Anu,

Thanks for moving my query to right forum.

My sister came thru a consultant, but she is have some problems with him.. he charged her a lot of money and she is not a software person..... Its the regular H1 stories.

Right now she wants to get a transfer for that consultant she is with, and take up any job, she is looking for any companies who will do that.... i dnt know but i heard that they dnt transfer that easily.

Does any one know what she could do?

Hi Rose,

Transfer of H1 is not difficult. What is difficult is to find a company who agrees to hire a H1 B.

You have not mentioned what kind of job your sister is looking for...if she is not an IT person and she is looking for a IT related job, then yes, it will be very difficult for her.

Does she have any training or skill set whatsoever in the job that she has an H1 for?

You need to give a few more specifics like what kind of a job is she looking for or how is she applying for other jobs..in order for us to provider any sort of help/guidance...

love,
Aarushi
