 Regarding US VISA - Can a student visa holder take a dependent? Hi ladies! I have doubts regarding visa.My doubt is my husband had went 2 do MS in US .he went rectly so his status is student visa.If i whted 2 go wht r the options .Is depending possible.should i write TOFEL compulsory.can any one tell the possiblities .I have done my b.tech.but i dont wht 2 study r do job any more.IS there possiblities for student to have dependent visa.

| Re: regarding VISA Yes...u can go in F2 visa if your husband has F1 visa..dont worry..and you need not write TOEFL for getting a dependent visa..you are good to go with your present situation... |

| Re: regarding VISA The student visa is called F1 visa and the dependents of F1 can go in F2 visa...Hope this clears your doubt... |
