Default PERM process

Hi friends ,

Has anybody got EAD in the PERM process? How long it took after applying?
We had applied for Green Card in September 2004 but didn't get any information except application is in backlog center. How reliable is the PERM process compared to others for processing Green Card? I heard that chances of rejection is higher in PERM.

If you have any information please share with me.
Thanks
Rajul

Default Perm

Hi,
Got labor clearance through PERM. Had applied for labor in 2001 but it never got approved and finally went to backlog. Started PERM in April--first...documentation and advertisement by the company ..then applied July end..got labor clearance in two weeks...applied for i 140... got that approved in a month ...and was able to file for i 485 before retogression.. You are right...chances of rejection are very high in PERM. But if you have proper documentation then there shouldn't be any problem. Make sure the photocopies you send are crystal clear...infact we took all color copies as our lawyer's office dint approve of the clarity of the photocopies!
