Hey Sanravi1970,

Congratulations to u on ur pregnancy!Though long way,it is going to be new experience.

I liked the way u scheduled timings for ur food intake. But that is not going to be enough!U need atleast 1500mg to 2000mg calcium for riskless journey throughout ur pregnancy and post pregnancy!Balance the calcium and iron levels well!Remember,on an average 270mg of calcium goes to ur baby. And ur prenatal will have only 200mg of calcium.Which implies,u need atleast 2cups milk +2cups yogurt minimum which would give 1300-1400mg with prenatal. So u need atleast 300mg of more calcium intake in other foods in addition per day!

Include more of moongdal, green leafy veggies, dates, cantaloupe etc for iron balance and milk, milk products like cheddar cheese, yogurt, brocoli, mustard greens, calcium fortified cereals for calcium levels. And juices i suggest only freshly squeezed orange juice and not any other juices which has added sugars in it.Try having yogurt with fruits and nuts.

Last but not the least, balance ur sugar and salt levels all the time.No spicy foods. If u have balanced calcium and iron levels in ur food,u will have less risk of back ache etc during or post pregnancy! One more tip,u can have Barley water if u have swellings etc in ur feet which helps a lot!

Goodluck,
Vaishu

Hi sanvari,

Congrats for your pregnancy!! Iam 27 week pregnant and due in october,I really liked your diet plan,I think vaishanavi is absolutely right, you need to increase the intake of yogurt, green leafy vegetables like spinach, you can have it in the form of sabzi or in parantha..( i like palak parantha), and don't forget the most important thing.."WATER" you should atleast 2 ltr water everybody to clear all the toxins from your body. Rest everything is perfectly OKAY..Dont worry your diet plan is awsome....

Wish you luck..btw when re you due?
Take care
Lucky
