DH Freaks me out !!

Its a bit weird ........

When ever we have conversation abt the gender of the baby, DH only talks abt girls, and does not like boy babes and makes jokes abt we will give him for adoption if its a boy... if i make a serious face he will say just kidding.

Even when we were married and we used to visit his family or frnds houses... he only carries and pets girls baby's not not boys........ we have a little niece (his bro's child) she is a apple of his eye, and will spoil her rotten with gifts, at the same time he has a nephew (bhabi's bro kid) he never take him by hand or pets him....... if i say hold him then he will hold him but puts him down in 10secs......

I though in time he will change .

But yesterday when my mom was taking to him on ph ...... Mom addressed my foetus as "HE" dh got so angry and stared talking to my mom rudely and was so upset, but my mom was just talking normally as elders do.

So i'm really scared if its a boy will DH accept the baby or not???

I'm thinking i will be having a girl, because my mom says if you have heavy nausea you will have girl baby . But in future we have plans of adopting a child, based on the first baby its a girl... we will adopt a boy and its a boy will adopt a girl....... DH , family every one is ready fr that , but now i think DH is saying yes to just please me .. i dnt know i'm confused

ladies do u think i'm over reacting ??? is this behaviour normal?

Congrats on your pregnancy! I honestly think you are overreacting and you have nothing to worry about. You know the line "dadd's little princess" - I think he has all these ideas in his mind, but the minute he sees his child, everything will be fine and won't imagine it any other way.

Hey don't worry and stress yourself, though mostly gents like girlbabies& half of the time girlbabies too stick to their dada.

Anyone can't restrict themselves from showering their own kid with affection, afterall its their own genes and blood.

Surely he will change by the kid's movement and activities though he is more attached to girl babies.

Just relax, once he sees his baby's face nothing can stop him, because heart wins than brain.

Your husband reminds me of my Sister's husband. He was saying the same thing to her and they ended up getting a boy. His sister has 2 girls and his parents also wanted a boy. he ended up fighting with his parents every single day for this.

Trust me..He loves him just as like any other Dad would. So..Don't sweat.

My husband claims that he is going to pet and pamper a girl baby and not if it is a boy. He'll be just fine. My sister craved and craved for a girl too. She has a boy and she loves him just fine.

Lol...i think u are overreacting. If its a boy or a girl once they come out in the delivery room our attitude will totally change. One of my friend's husband wanted only boy. But when they came to know it was a girl he was slightly disappointed. But now after the baby is born she is apple of his eye. He loves her too much and nowadays he tells us all that its a blessing to have a girl. So see ppl change whtever the sex of the baby is.
So dont worry and be relaxed.
