Uh oh! You have to support your sister at this time of grief. Never ever tell her that it was not like it was really a baby. She may just stop talking to you forever. Gently remind her when she is ready to think beyond her grief, that this has happened to many, many people (in fact, most people I know seem to have had at least one m/c) and that it doesn't mean anything for her next pregnancy. Meanwhile, advise her to focus on her health and prepare her body and mind for her next pregnancy. By eating right and exercising right as per doctor's advice.

I had same problem in my pregnancy 2008..My GYN put me on insulin from 33 weeks..1st i feel bad but its all for my baby..From 36 week i used to go for NST 2times/week...In NST-they check babys heartbeat and our contraction...I got baby boy normal delivery..No probs to baby n me..After delivery no sugar ..It was gestational diabates..
I did following things in my Gestational Diabetes
1)Walking on treadmill after each meal (breakfast -snacks-lunch-snacks-dinner-snacks)) -6 time /day
2)ate egg, raw veggi, soya, tofu, soya milk ,less rice , wheat+soya floor roti
3)cucumber,string beans curry, karela, lauki or dudhi- they reduce sugar
4)each snack was 1 protein+1 carb eg.egg+ 1 slice wholegrain bread,cottage cheese+ 1 fruit ,
5)each meal was 1 protein+1 fruit+1 carb+ 1 milk(yogurt,milk)+unlimited raw veggi
I used to measure my meal by measuring cup ,It realy helped me a lot
So don't worry ,this is very small phase just follow the rules u'll get good results..

I had a question, during the 7-8 weeks of pregnancy, how does one feel in the stomach. Is there any change in the stomach?
