Hi Reema,
Currently i am 18 weeks pregnant and my ob-gyn has also advised me to get my self registered in the waiting list for the swine flu vaccine. Also she recommended me to get a flu shot made for pregnant women. Since that shot is currently not available in my clinic I am in their waiting list too.
I think clinical trials for the swine flu shot are still going on and i read somewhere that they are doing those trials on pregnant women too.
But if ur exposure to outside is minimum then u can skip i guess. But ask ur ob-gyn before doing that. But for me its compulsary as I travel daily to my work using subway so I am sort of scared already and hoping that vaccine comes soon.
