Iam a regular reader of this forum...my LM date was feb 19 but my periods come almost 40 to 45 days delay...this time i did my Ovalation test and it was on march 13(almost 23rd day after periods) and we did try for baby on that day..right now i feel little cramps, slight headaches, back pain was there one week before but not now...stomach is bloted n its like heavy while sleeping...iam feeling very uneasy while sleeping with heavy stomach...i did PT last week on 20th march it was negative...i did today it showed very very light second line...so iam really confused am i pregnant or not..iam visiting bathroom very frequently...help

You do have the common symptoms of early pregnancy. Sometimes, the pregnancy tests take a little while to show the positive result cause of the hormone levels. I sugest you repeat the Home pregnancy test again, and also do it first thing inthe morning when your Urine tends to have the maximum hormone secreted.
Am sure the pink line will be more pronounced. If the home test still doe snot show anything, please do go to your doctor and get a blood test done.

You could visit your primary care and ask for the blood work.
Blood results are accurate.

u can wait for another 3 or 4 days and do the home test again..also u can go for the blood test and find out the result..all the best..

Thank u guys..i want to wait for 2 - 3 ays more n do PT once again...but this waiting is killing me..

A 2nd line, no matter how faint, is generally indicative of pregnancy. You can test again the very next day with first morning urine and see if the line is darker. If it is, then definitely get a blood test done to confirm the good news

And make sure to take a good pre-natal vitamin.

Am 4 weeks pregnant.My hospital staff asked me to come for an ultrasound scanning this monday to check my pregnancy level.They also did a blood test today & said that am doing fine.Am wondering will there be an ultrasound scanning for the diagnosis & confirmation of early pregnancy.Then found a website on the internet Obstetric ultrasound -- a comprehensive guide to ultrasound scans in pregnancy which says why & when ultrasound is done during pregnancy.

I would also like to know how early should i schedule a prenatal care appointment.

Please clarify my questions.

Hi Manuu,

Congratulations!!!! Don't worry, some doctors do vaginal or abdominal scan during 4wks - 6wks when we go for confirmation. But not all, few doctors does that i heard from many of my friends.
