Good Gyn-obs in Coimbatore

Yes my parents are checking for me but they dont know anyone who had experience ... i am looking for a doctor who will have patience and also for someone who will try for normal delivery maximum and do a c-section if only necessary.

sandiya, i delivered zoey at Womens center, 2nd branch at kalpana medical center, on mettupalayam road. Dr anuradha was my OB and i cant talk enough about what an excellent support she was. If u wish to, ask ur parents to go meet her. she knows me very well,i delivered just a month back.
also the hospital is excellent and very clean.

the main branch of womens center india is at ramakrishna hospital but its extremely busy, hence i prefered kalpana medical center.
if u wish to know anything else, let me know.
i couldnt hv been happier, the support staff is too good

Yap have asked my parents about Kalpana medical centre and they too said good things about it. And congrats for your sweet zoey.. sorry missed to wish you in the earlier posts...

Hi, how is kalpana center?
whether they encourage natural birth?
If yes, what are their practices?
When dilation standing at what number they take to labor room?
Breast feedings is allowed imediately after birth?
Do they do episiotomy?
Birth took place lying back on the bed?

1. Ramakrishna
2. KG
3. Kongu nadu

Kindly provide your recommendations to choose between the hospitals.
I m doing my part for the normal delivery.

I will highly recommend VIJAYA Hospital in R.S Puram, The Doctor name is Dr Sudha. She is gem of a doctor, wonderful lady, I myself undergone treatment with her for last 12 years..

Hi Janaki, I delivered at KG hospital 4 months back.. Their services were good but prices are definitely exhorbitant compared to any other hospital in Coimbatore.. I had a c-section and total cost came close to 70K. Probably would be way lesser if you have a normal delivery.. I heard that services/rooms are not that good in Kongu nadu. My recommendation, if your hospital expenses can be claimed then definitely KG is a good choice among all, otherwise definitely not..

As for the gynae Chandrakala Maran at KG is good.. Sadly I didnt know about her during my pregnancy.. When I delivered, I happened to notice that all the deliveries at that time handled by her were normal ones.. Not sure about her other policies for delivery though.
