Hi Kirthi,

Congratulations on your pregnancy!!

Checkout the website babycenter.com. Enroll in their mailing list and you will get emails every week on how your baby will be growing and stuff like that. The site also has message boards which will have answers to most of your questions.

Good luck and enjoy your pregnancy!

Hi Krithi,

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I would recommend you to read a book by name "What to expect when you are expecting" by authors Arlene Eisenberg, Heidi E. Murkoff, and Sandee E. Hathaway.
This book helped me a lot in understanding what goes on each month and how the baby grows. It was very useful for me .

Good luck and take care

Shobana

Red face Re: Pregnancy - week 6

Hi Kriga!!!

First of all congratulations from my side too!!! I heard that walking is best rather than jogging or running....Do you have any morning sickness or nausea... For nausea Pomogranate juice is good it seems...

Even iam 45 days pregnant... right now i dont have any puking sensation... But i do have some morning sickness...

Even i am worried regarding the exercises itself. Since my body is used to the exercise if i stop exercise for 3-4 days i will put on weight.. Now iam 45 days pregnant but i have put on weight...Planning to go for a walk from tomorrow.

Regards
Devi

To all the newly pregnant ladies,

Always relax and enjoy your pregnancy. Also, morning sickness and nausea is not a 'must' during pregnancy and neither is vomiting. I never had any such symptoms during my pregnancy.Infact till about 5 mnths, nobody in my office even knew I was pregnant. So,just enjoy life as it comes.

Hi Kirga
First of all I would like to congratulate you. I am 27 weeks this is my first pregnancy. My tips are eat lot of fruit also look for books like "What to expect when you're expecting", "Pregnancy a week-by-week guide" in library.
If you're a tamilian hear to this daily Sri Garbarakshambigai Songs by Sudha Raghunathan. You can download this from coolgoose.com.
Whenever u see ur Ob/GYN make a list of questions. Because they will spend only 5 min so plz try to utilize him/her a lot.

Most of all be very very happy.

Also drink lot of water, also try to avoid bottled juice which has lot of sugar rather have a fruit.

Call your insurance and inform that u r pregnant coz they may ask u to get Pre-Certification for ur pregnancy from an organization. Our Insurance asked me to do that.

Plz post any of your questions or concerns so that myself or someone with much more experience could help.
Once again Congrats.
Cheers
-Dhivya.

Hi Devi,

I do not have puking/nausea sensations at all. However i feel extremely weak and tired especially in the mornings. Its getting tough to get to work in the mornings. Other than that diet and walk is fine.

By the way, when is your due date and may i know where are you currently from?

cheers,
Krithi
