| Hello everyone, I have heard from many that pregnancy normally affects either your hair or teeth. To be more specific, they say nature favors the growing foetus and as such to make up for all the nutrients for the baby, derives this from the mother's body. As such the mother either suffers from hair loss or tooth problems. Does anybody know how we can try to prevent this? What kind of care should be taken during this stage? Regards, Daisy |

| Hi Just wanted to tell you that it is not advisable to get x-rays during pregnancy. I'm telling this because if you go to a dentist they might ask you to get one. Only get it if you really have to, if its just general tooth care or something like that you may want to hold off until after delivery. And yes, drink lots of milk or any diary otherwise the body will get the calcium needed for the baby from your teeth, this happens with triplets generally. For hair I'm not sure what can be done. Good luck with the pregnancy CoolMommy |
