Am I Pregnant!!!!!

Hi ladies

Today is my 40th day since i missed my periods. I did HPT and found the second line to be light compared to the first line ( but i could see both the lines only thing is second line is in light pink colour) .

Now my question is Iam i pregnant????

Secondly will the blood test confirm my pregnancy 100 percent in 40 days..

Iam travelling to India next week . I need to make it clear asap ..Pls guide..

If HPT is not clear you can confirm through blood test.It is indeed more accurate than home urine tests.
HCG is hormone that is produced by placenta in pregnant women . It is detectable in the blood and urine within 10 days of fertilization .I think 40 days is right time to do it.

Even a faint line is considered positive. If you take the test again the 2nd line will become darker if you are pregnant.

I guess you should be pregnant! In any case, do another HPT after a couple of days and the second line will become more darker if it is pregnancy. And yes, a blood test is more accurate. All the best.

As other ILites said, there is 90% chance of positive only, though you got faint line.

To confirm, just take after one or 2 days with your first morning urine sample.
