pain near the navel

hi ladies,
i am in my 26 week n from last 2 days i am experiencing pain near my navel..i haven't got stretch marks yet..i am feeling as if the skin is tightening n this is causing the pain...is this the reason or something else?
pls clear my doubt..

Hi,

During 25 weeks or so, even I felt my skin was being stretched. It felt like being pulled.
But I didnt get any pain except for the pain when the kicks in the lower part.
If the pain does not go away, do give a call to the clinic to enquire and just to be sure there are no internal issues.

Yes,you can check with the doctor.In my sister's case,she too had this pain and later found out that the baby was holding on tightly to the umbilical cord with his hand

thanks for ur replies..i had gone to the doctor n she said it was due to stretching of the skin..in fact i don't hv the pain now n its very accasional...baby is absolutely fine...
