Chinese birth prediction calendar?

i too read this calender.i tried on some friends & relative.generally found it to be true.only in one case it failed but i suspect the lady told me wrong date of birth.
as i too am preg with my 2nd child & we have a son so want a daughter.this calender predicts a daughter so i desperately want it to be right.
u r currently in china so what do ur chinese friends say about it.do tell us.

In my opinion, most Chinese predictions are correct.

Seventeen years back, in a tamil magazine, there was a Chinese birth prediction chart. the prediction was based on the month & year the baby was conceived. It was perfect. when I moved from B'lore to Hyd, i misplaced it.

If anyone has it, please share it.

The Chinese birth calender prediction was wrong for me. It said, I would have a boy but I gave birth to a beautiful little girl six months ago. Oh well!!! it doesn't really matter anyways, because I love my little girl and wouldn't have it any other way. However, my manager at work said I would have a girl and I really did. I guess she was more right then the calender. Its fun to look at, but not to be really trusted at least in my case.

I think the tool of the link is based on this chart.

Even i heard about this chinese calendar , one of my neighbour hav this calendar and she also bet my cousin that, she will get BOY BABY according to that calendar, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SHE IS RIGHT

As there are only two options, Boy and Girl, the chances of it being correct each time is 50% mathematically.

I am not sure if these predictions are based on scientific research. As you yourself said they are not accurate all the time, I think this is a good guessing game to play and cannot be taken seriously.

Just my opinion.

So this is only random guessing.

In my home town in France there were a "100% accurate birth prediction doctor". That's when he died that we understood how he did.
A pregnant woman Miss A. came for her pre-natal visit, he would predict "this will be a boy", and write on his book "Miss A.'s baby will be a girl". After the birth, if the baby was a boy, everybody will say "miracle, he guessed correctly again", if the baby was a girl, they would come to visit the doctor and tell him he was wrong. Then the doctor will take his book, look at it and calmy answer: "have a look, I wrote it would be a girl, maybe you did not hear clearly..."

As lot of Chinese family prefar to have boy than girl, if there was a way to predict the sex according to the conception date, which would means to choose the sex of the baby, no girl would be born...

All those predictions, astrology stuffs, seems to be fake, just to put some magic and mysterious things in peoples mind.

check the- view the chart in it. Chinese Gender Chart to Determine Your Baby's Gender
here it says mothers age is based on chinese age at the time of conception
and the one ketal gave is different. I am totally confused .
